The Black Root’s use of reggae for pacifism.

During the unrest of people of colour, the youth towards the police and the rule of the ‘Iron Lady’, former prime minister, Margaret Thatcher, music lovers began looking for bands like the Black Roots, who “sung loudly about pacifism” (1)


Even now Black Roots uses their music to present social awareness about Bristol culture and politics.
